Fun, friendly and a great workout for body, mind and spirit.
You may want to join us to learn weekly from a master ringer how to
ring historic tower bells. No experience needed and open to anyone over 12. For more
information, contact Debbie at towercaptain@chelseaoldchurch.org.uk
We are delighted to have re-instated ringing the church bells on Christmas Day and more often throughout the year. Our aim is to ring regularly on Sundays and build our own band.
Weekly Rehearsals at 18.30 every Monday
Bell ringing is an exciting and inspiring way to contribute to the church, learn – and keep on learning – something new, and enjoy a shared activity along the way. We are keen to teach new ringers and are building up to have regular ringing on Sundays.
Edmund Wratten is teaching trainee ringers on these training evenings.
We are being ably supported by some wonderful ringers from the Middlesex Guild and would welcome anyone else who is interested in finding out about bell ringing.
Where and When:
In the Church Tower on Mondays, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
Who can join?
If you would like to try, please come along on a Monday evening. You must be aged 12 or over.
If you have any questions email Debbie Ardley at towercaptain@chelseaoldchurch.org.uk to express your interest and an initial meeting/session can be arranged.
