Baby baptism

Celebrate new life in Christ through baptism. Whether for infants, children, or adults, baptism is a public declaration of faith and a significant step in your spiritual journey.
Baptisms at Chelsea Old Church are very popular. They are held on two Sunday afternoons a month, each one on their own.

Our 10.00 am Sunday Family Service is equally well supported and is an important part of our community. You will always be warmly welcomed.

Chelsea Old Church tower and clock

Chelsea Old Church, with its centuries-old history and beautiful architecture, provides a serene and reflective environment for both funerals and memorials.

The church’s tranquil setting by the Thames and its rich history make it a fitting place to celebrate those whom we love but see no longer, whether they were a long-standing member of our parish or had a special connection to Chelsea.

An open bible with a candle and crucifix on a table

Celebrate and remember the life of a loved one through a personalised memorial service. Our church provides a sacred space for reflection, remembrance, and healing.

Although remembering someone special generates some very private thoughts and emotions, the public sharing of them is also a powerful experience. Many people have found the calm and timeless setting of Chelsea Old Church a source of great strength, a source that enriches this special celebration where thanks, joy and sadness can merge so powerfully.
